Description
I spotted this majestic bull elk in the meadows along West Yellowstone's Madison River. It was a beautiful late September afternoon. This big guy was gathering a harem and alert to any interlopers. I sat in the meadow, at a safe distance, with my camera and super telephoto lens soaking in the unfolding story.
